Biography:

Barış (which means "peace" in Turkish) Tunçbilek (can better be called as "toonchblack" in English) was born and raised in the capital city of Turkey: Ankara. He started listening to music at the age of 4 with Barış Manço and Carlos Santana.

He become a dj at the age of 17 playing with vinyl than moved on to music production at the age of 25. Till than He had played in tens of clubs, venues and pubs. He also played in national, city and university radios.

He is one of the founders of Radyo Bilkent but also has a Phd degree in Management.

While dj'ing; he jams house, Nu disco, deep house, soul, classical jazz, nu-jazz, funk, jazz house, funk house, trip hop, downtempo, chillout, lounge, ambient, bossa nova, tango, samba but also rock depending on the crowd.

His musical style mostly depends on the crowd's mood without any "new vs. Old" music debates and "bpm" barriers.

His first albüm “Global Anatolian Sounds” was released in 2015 and his second album “Anka” is released from his own record label on 19.08.2019.

Barış Tunçbilek wants to arrange the asmr of electronic music in order to reach audience's Automonous Sensory Meridian Responses just like a musical massage.
