Canna Lilies: An Excellent Choice for Urban Gardens

For those of us that are patio or porch gardeners, we seem to think small plants in small pots is all we can do. A patio filled with tons of tiny plants always looks clustered and out of harmony. Adding one or two larger plants that can be a strong focal point is a time tested way of bringing some unity to your urban garden.

Cannas are an excellent choice for the sunny urban gardens because they're incredibly fast growing, can handle loads of water, provide wonderful texture, ornate foliage, and the occasional burst of color with vibrant flowers. It is a plant everyone should try growing. You'll probably fall in love.
