In today's retrofit we explain what needs to be done in order to retrofit the Genuine Audi Cruise Control System. This isn't a How-To but more to show what's involved and the completed article.

Now we are an Approved Audi & VW Workshop we have access to the Main Dealer level diagnostics to before Activations! As part of the installation, the vehicle gets connected online and using the official Activation Document and ODIS we will update the Audi Servers that the vehicle now has Cruise Control installed.

Unlike the older VAG platforms, newer MQB based vehicles require cruise control to be activated via Audi servers remotely. Many retrofit companies will simply fit a cruise control stalk and send you off to an Audi dealer to get the cruise function activated which means an extra cost to yourself.

Due to what is involved we will need the vehicle to come and visit us down here in Poole, Dorset for the work to be completed.
