Singapore Airlines FIRST CLASS Suites Review Part 1: Fancy Hidden Lounge & Personalised Service!

With the rise of low cost airlines such as AirAsia these days, it’s never been cheaper or more convenient to fly around Asia as long as you can put up with their no frills conditions. This has been perfect for me as a backpacker, as I don’t need any checked in luggage, meals on flights or a comfortable seat, so for as long as I’ve been travelling budget airlines has been my go to option when it comes to flying. However, for my 4.5 months backpacking trip in South East Asia, I decided to start with some luxury by flying to Singapore in a First Class Suite with Singapore Airlines. I’ve never even flown business class before so I was super excited for this and had no idea what to expect! In this 2 part review, I’m going to take you guys through the entire First Class experience as I experience it for the first time, from check-in to lounges to taking a nap mid-flight on a bed!

In Part 1, I’ve arrived early to check in at the Sydney International Airport to maximise my time in the SilverKris lounge, where I discover that there’s a separate lounge inside exclusively for First Class passengers, hidden behind a secret door! After filling up on some delicious (and unlimited!) food from the lounge, I go through a seamless boarding process with no waiting and no lines to be greeted by the incredible personal service of my flight attendants, they even knew my name! Then it’s time to check out my suite and relax before take-off, while looking at the menu thinking about what I will order for lunch.
