When we posted this video, NMDC had won an appeal in the high court enabling it to restart production at the Donimalai mine. However, the state government has once again cancelled NMDC’s lease for Donimalai mine and put it up for e-auction. Although the Mines Tribunal issued a stay order on the decision of the Karnataka government to withdraw extension of the mining lease for now, we retract our recommendation until this issue is resolved.
