Give these 5 stretches a try that are focused on opening up the hips Hold each stretch for 20-30 seconds, find a suitable position that doesn’t put you in discomfort, if a stretch brings you discomfort then ease out of that stretch and move onto the next one.
Stretch 1
For a deeper stretch, walk the front foot out to the side
For a deeper stretch, drop to forearms
Stretch 2
Bring feet as close to you as you can
Sit nice and tall
Pull knees towards the floor
Stretch 3
Keep a flat back
Use elbows to push the knees out
Stretch 4
Rest front foot in a position so it’s comfortable
Stretch 5
For a deeper stretch, push bum backwards
Complete the sequence 3x through
