Toxins affect the entire body, not just the cell. When cells fill up with toxins, then the body becomes overwhelmed with them, and can't perform its normal functions as well. The body can deal with a certain amount of toxins in the cells, but if the level of cells affected is too high, you'll end up with disease. Toxin-filled cells are associated with diseases such as allergies, autoimmune diseases, and skin disorders.
Your body has five major detoxification organs that assist you with this process: your skin, colon, liver, gall bladder, and kidneys. Detoxification is going on simultaneously in all locations 24/7, but a major blockage in the process will be constipation. If you are unable to evacuate the meals you've eaten that your body has processed, then the rest of the organs get backed up and their detoxification processes could slow down or even stop.
Your liver is next in the chain of organs that detoxify toxins. Your colon may be working perfectly but if your liver is backed up and can't properly process foods and chemicals, its cells become overworked. Fatty liver may set in, simply because the liver can't eliminate the fats properly. That's when the fats can accumulate and cause fatty liver.
If your colon is not working properly, the liver will not have access to the best place to dump toxins - your colon. These toxins have to go somewhere and they end up overloading the skin and the kidneys.
Your body is an amazing machine that works properly 24/7 but you have to help it along the way
