Hong Kong students sing and shout slogans in support of recent protests Watch to the end!

During the new school year's opening ceremony, students in a local high school sing "Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Miserables to drown out the Chinese national anthem. The song has become one of protest and defiance during the recent protests with began several months ago against the extradition bill that could be used to extradite political opponents to China.

As many students boycotted classes, these brave youngsters defied the government's threats of recording the names of those who supported pro-democracy protests. Their show of unity and passion in song and chants stirs the hearts of all who hear their cries for a free and just Hong Kong!
