Following these steps, you can make any kind of website, with simple “DRAG & DROP” functions.
The 5 Steps you need to do are:
1) Choose a Domain Name
2) Buy Hosting & Domain
3) Install WordPress
4) Add a New Theme
5) Edit the Content

Let’s begin.
Step 1: Pick a name for your website.
Go to: and pick a name for your website. You can choose anything you like - yoursite.com, .net, or .org.
This will be the domain name for your website.
Choose a name and check to see if it’s available. Once you find a name that's available, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Get Hosting & Domain
Hosting & Domain are the two things you'll need, in order to launch your website.
Hosting is the place where your website lives and your Domain is the name of your website.
You can get your hosting with a free domain (by choosing a yearly plan) and once you’ve completed your purchase, you can continue to...
Step 3: Installing WordPress
Wordpress is a free tool that powers almost a third of all websites. It's free to install and use to build your website without any web design knowledge.
To Install WordPress, go to your Dreamhost account and click "WordPress” in menu bar on the right, then click One Click Installs.
Check your email for username and password info (you'll need this to log into WordPress).
After the WordPress Installation is complete, you’ll be taken to your WordPress Dashboard. This is where you’ll be managing your website.
When you reach your dashboard, your website is LIVE! You can check this, by entering your domain name in your browser's address bar.
To visit your WordPress Dashboard again, just type: yoursite.com/wp-admin.
Your website comes with a default WordPress Theme. You can change it, by following the next step.
Step 4: Adding a New Theme
You can install a new theme by going to Appearance, and then Themes in the right side menu bar .Now we're going to install the Astra theme (To get pre-made website design templates with demo content)
Then, install the Astra Sites Plugin (this will make it easy for you to customize your site). You can install this plugin, by going to ‘Plugins' and search for Astra
in the search bar.
The Astra Starter Sites plugin has a ton of designs for your website, which you can choose & apply to your site in just a few clicks.
To choose a design, click ‘See Library.’
Before you select a design, be sure you click ‘Elementor’ from the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner. This will make it easy for you to edit your site's design.
Choose a design and import it to your site. Once, you’ve chosen a design with its demo content, you can go to the final step.
Step 5: Editing the Demo Content
Editing a page is fast & easy. To edit a page, just go to the page that you want to edit and click ‘Edit with Elementor.’
The entire page will become an editing section. To edit any text, just click on it, and type whatever you want. This works on every page throughout the site.
That's how you can edit any page you want, using Elementor. To edit the header and the footer area of your website, click ‘Customize’ on the top menu bar.
After you click ’Customize' you’ll see blue pencil icons on the page. To edit any item in the menu section, just click the blue pencil icon and make your changes.
The footer menu area works the same way, click a blue pencil icon and begin to edit.
To create a new page, you can do this 2 ways:
1) Create your own page using drag and drop elements with Elementor.
2) Using Astra's pre-made design templates.
