WATCH: Rep. Nadler says White House is obstructing Congress | Lewandowski hearing Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., the chair of the House Judiciary Committee chairman, called out the White House for preventing people close to President Donald Trump from testifying before Congress. In his opening statement at a hearing featuring former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, Nadler said the White House is “intent on preventing the American people from hearing the details” of the investigation into Trump and his former officials. The White House barred two former Trump aides, Rick Dearborn and Rob Porter, from testifying and directed Lewandowski to not answer questions about private conversations between himself and President Donald Trump.
