My Waterproof Gear for TA :: Long White Gypsy

New Zealand is notorious for having three seasons in one day, so I knew I'd need some pretty good waterproof gear for my upcoming thru-hike of Te Araroa.

In this video I discuss how best to choose a waterproof jacket (including advice on Hydrostatic Head ratings and the different layered garments), and the three options I narrowed my choice down to.

I also briefly discuss the waterproof rain trousers I'll be taking with me on my thru hike.
