So this is an advanced style to the parry. So traditionally you would do a parry and move on, but some parries have 2 parts to them the contact and the follow up. So the trick here is doing the first parts of these parries and weapon switching before ki pulse to get spear stance change. From there you can follow up with whatever you like. Keep in mind you also need to change to high stance to get spear stance change so its a decent amount of inputs. Each attack has its own timing to switch before ki pulse. Some attacks like Morning Moon do not allow it because the time to switch is too short for it to allow a follow up ki pulse.

This is just a fun way to furhter advance the already in-depth combat.
