The Obama Foundation is collecting Obama-related artifacts from the public for potential display at the Obama Presidential Center. Pier Smith, a resident of the Bronzville neighborhood on South Side Chicago, received the leather clutch as a gift and initially dismissed until until she realized it was screen printed with all of the headlines announcing President Obama had won the election. Smith says, “it's nice to reflect back on their impact on popular culture and our style. You cannot look at them and now see how much style and elegance they brought." We’re searching for other unique items that tell the story of President Obama's career for potential acquisition and possible display in the Obama Presidential Center Museum.
