TERMINATOR DARK FATE might have a record setting opening!

TERMINATOR DARK FATE is looking to pull in $40 million or so during its opening weekend. The box office number actually puts the film at a franchise high. However, with the film being co-financed by Tencent, it will be interesting to see if moviegoers will boycott the film because of its ties to China. James Cameron's sequel to TERMINATOR 2 is one that die-hard fans want to see, so we'll have to wait and see if they turn up at the box office.
