The One Who Claims That YaʾJūj And MaʾJūj Are Metaphorical | Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān

The Questioner: May Allāh grant you good. Noble Shaykh, this questioner says that a man claims that Yaʾjūj and Maʾjūj must be interpreted metaphorically…

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān: I seek refuge with Allāh.

The Questioner: Because he says that everyone who knows science…

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān: This is a distortion of the speech of Allāh and the speech of His Messenger regarding Yaʾjūj and Maʾjūj.

Yaʾjūj and Maʾjūj are from the children of Ādam. Yaʾjūj and Maʾjūj are from the children of Ādam but Allāh confined them behind the barrier of Dhū al-Qarnayn and when the end of time comes, they will climb over [what remains of] it and emerge before the people.

Allāh [the Exalted] says: “This is a mercy from my Lord. But when the promise of my Lord is fulfilled, He will collapse this barrier to the ground. And the promise of my Lord is always true.” [Sūrah al-Kahf 18:98] Yes.

Fawzān
