China’s Guided Missile Frigate Arrives in South Africa to Participate in Joint Drill China's guided-missile frigate Weifang Sunday arrived at the Port of Cape Town, South Africa to take part in the China-Russia-South Africa joint maritime drill.

The joint maritime exercise marks the first time for China, Russia and South Africa to jointly hold a maritime exercise at the southern sea of Africa. Besides China's guided-missile frigate Weifang, Russian missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov and South African frigate Amatola also took part in the joint drill.
