Alps (Western) Photoreal Freeware Scenery for X-Plane 11

Alps (Western) Photoreal Freeware Scenery for X-Plane 11 Download from Fly Away Simulation here:

A complete photoreal (photorealistic) scenery package covering the Alps Western regions for X-Plane 11 developed by A Sky Story.

A stunning package developed for both XP11 and XP10 containing high-definition textures based on satellite imagery of the Alps region. All areas have been authenticly recreated using photoreal scenery from Lyon to Sion.

The total package size is ~40 GB so it may take a long time to download on a standard Internet connection.

Resolution zoom level 17 and zoom level 16 have been used to produce the scenery. The package has been generated using Oscar Pilote's Ortho4XP and open-source satellite imagery.

As well as being very high resolution (HD), all of the imagery has been post-processed to remove the atmospheric effect that you can get with using satellite imagery. Examples are atmospheric hazing, clouds, and color distortion. This has all been fixed and touched-up by the team at A Sky Story.

Many famous areas have been covered in this Western part including; Lyon, Geneva, Aravis, Mont Blanc, Sion, Bern, St. Gervais, Chamonix and of course many more.

This package will greatly improve the default X-Plane scenery in the areas covered.

If you like this package, please make a donation to A Sky Story as their freeware work is greatly appreciated by all members of the X-Plane community as well as yourself.

The file is released as freeware which means it is free to download and use.

Compatible with all versions of X-Plane 11 and possible X-Plane 10.
