My husband and I recently had a health scare/wake up call. He had 100% blockage in his right coronary artery. His Doctor was able to put in a stent and get the blood flowing again, but also advised him to follow a Mediterranean diet (no red meat, no high fat, very low sodium). We've been following this advice for over a month now, and WOW! What a difference it has made. I've had to change up my recipes, and we've had a lot of fun trying new things. Today I'm sharing my new Marinara Sauce recipe. This is a staple for us, and one that we can use in multiple dishes. I hope you like it! Thanks for watching!!

PS.....This is a totally "to taste" recipe. I start with a few tablespoons of Italian Seasoning, but by the time I'm finished I've used between 1/4 and 1/3 CUP. So just keep tasting it and seasoning it until its how you like it.
