Meghan Markle’s friend has been ordered to take down photos of the Duchess in jewellery, amid fears, it could be “damaging” to the Royal Family. Jennifer Meyer was issued with the warning, surrounding the images by Buckingham Palace, the Daily Mirror reports.
Buckingham Palace officials have allegedly told the Duchess of Sussex's friend, Jennifer Meyer, to delete images posted online that use the royal's image to promote her business.
The California-based jewellery designer has attracted customers by saying Meghan 'can't get enough' of her pieces, which include necklaces and rings.
The photos include Meghan in jewellery from Ms Meyer. She wore the pieces throughout the year at various royal engagements.
Ms Meyer's business had posted links for potential customers to buy items online after seeing the royal wearing them.
Despite the claimed request, several of the posts remained on Ms Meyer's Instagram for the boutique in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood next to the celebrity-filled beach city of Malibu.
Amongst the events were the unveiling of her first child Archie to the world and when she met Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
