'Out of the Blue' with Katie Schrodt: Family Literacy Research

Dr. Katie Schrodt, a professor in our College of Education, is a vocal advocate on family literacy. She recently received a grant to engage community schools in literacy events and works to underscore how high-quality, culturally sustaining books can make a big difference in the development of children. And Dr. Schrodt has worked to connect MTSU with area schools in this noble cause.
