In this video we're going to take a look at one of the most important components of sounding good.

What is it?

❗️Note Duration❗️

Note duration is critical to sound production because it is the very thing that gives shape to the notes, phrases in a solo and even the chords and chord progressions you play.

If we don't give proper attention to note duration we'll be left with very disconnected sounding melodies, solos and chord progressions.

And you don't want that.

We want to eliminate those big gaps of silence in between notes so that we can create cleaner note transitions and more seamless sounding melodies, solos and chord transitions.
