Western Pennsylvania received numerous amounts of snow squalls and freezing temperatures for the past 24-hours. A blinding snow squall moved into the Greater Pittsburgh Region around midnight on 1/16/2020 into 1/17/2020.

Ice is trapped underneath the snow, which has caused numerous vehicle accidents. Heavy snowfall is expected to happen into the weekend.
