Day 5 Strategies That Define Success God's Way

We have a linear way too setting resolutions, priorities and goals and a linear way of measuring yet I’ve rarely seen goals be met in a linear way

Im not dismissing ‘benchmarks’ - after all, a business isn’t a business if sales aren’t being made, right? It’s great to look at the ‘bottom line’ but what we don’t always realized is that the ‘bottom line’ will take care of itself when we are aligned spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and then the ‘physically’ will happen.


Ways to Measure Success:

Did I see the resolution to the end?

Do I have peace in all areas of my life….spiritually, relationships, financially, physically, etc? God will never align with success in one area to the destruction of any other area.

Do I see growth in all areas of my life as a result of pursuing my resolution?



According to Deuteronony 8:18, God gives us the power to create wealth (that word in the Hebrew ties back to the word ‘shalom’ which is holistic success…..peace, abundance, life, growth, joy,etc, etc, etc in ALL areas of our life)

It’s not JUST emotional sense of peace or well-being….it is a way of life no matter what that you are growing, prospering, experiencing fulfillment, joy, and contributing to others in positive ways…NOT at the expense of our relationships with others, our health, our peace, joy, and well-being.

It is our job to start with 'delighting yourself in the Lord' and ends with seeing the fruit of the promise of Deuteronomy 8:18 and holistic success God's way!
