TIPS:
-Don't stay in one area, keep moving around.
-If buffing wheel get smoothed/thick coating over it you're using too much compound. Run it against a sharpish metal edge of some sort to remove excess.
-A medium to light force is better than pushing hard into the surface.
-Use a medium to soft buffing wheel on plastics.
