The 14-Day Legal Requirement Which Delays Hanging of Nirbhaya Convicts | The Quint

While the Delhi court has not stayed the execution of the convicts, they cannot be executed till 14 days after their mercy petitions are rejected. Only Mukesh Singh – who is one out of four convicts in case – has filed a mercy petition.
