They say that the town in The Goonies was founded by pirates, who killed the legendary captain One Eyed Willy and his crew.

Reddit User 87StickUpKid posited the theory that whoever built the well that is featured in The Goonies, must have known about all the underground tunnels? How can you build something like that and not notice what’s right there in front of you?

Also – whoever laid the golf course and the school’s plumbing must also have known about the tunnels – how could they not if the plumbing is all interconnected?
There’s a crazy idea out there about Inspector Gadget. That lovable but kind of useless special agent. Hold on to your hats for this one guys.
What sort of a name is “Gadget”? I mean think about it. Its not a normal name is it? But Gadget himself seems like a normal guy – well aside from all the electronic bits and bobs about his person.

He’s kind of a cyborg really – a bit like robocop. A half man half machine. I wonder what Gadget’s name was before his robotic augmentations were done.
Well he must have had a normal civilian identity right? He wasn’t born a cyborg.
This theory states that Dr Claw – the supposed arch enemy of Gadget – is actually the original Inspector Gadget. Horrifically injured in an explosion, or accident and presumed dead -Gadget was re-built using robotic parts and augmentations. They even re-built his voice which was damaged terribly.

Only Gadget isn’t a re-build – it’s a replacement. The real gadget is the guy with the cat.
He survived, he is deformed and suffers from PTSD. He found out that the cops created a robot version of him which lives with his family, has his job, has his life.
So he assumes the identity of Dr Claw – determined to destroy this robotic abomination and get his old life back

Well – those parts are the endings of her actual books. She does begin each episode at the type writer afterall. So each episode, or book, is actually an account of her murderous rampage – with a confession by someone else as a bit of artistic license

The Thundercats home planet of Thundera suffered the ravages of war and famine after some major disaster.
According to Reddit user biggergorilla10 a superior alien race with incredibly advanced technology, attacked the planet of Thundera.
These interlopers happened to have a taste for cats, considering felines as a bit if a delicacy.
They came from the planet Melmac
Yes – Alf’s race of aliens – the Melmacians – destroyed planet Thundera and devoured almost the entire population.
Alf himself was part of a scouting party who went to Earth of course – but Thundera had already been scouted and selected for invasion

After ravaging the planet – the Melmacians moved on to their next galactic buffet – leaving Thundera in tatters.
The theory actually suggests that Mumraa was a resident on Thundera at the time this happened, and he was the leader of a resulting faction of Thunderans known as the Followers Of The Old Ways – who found themselves pitted against a second faction Followers Of The New Ways.
