Our first adventure back living in our van is none other than Machu Picchu!! We were so stoked to explore this iconic destination in Peru, but to be honest, we were prepared for it to be a bit overrated, and a bit too touristy. But we couldn't have been more wrong! Van life has rarely brought us to as beautiful a destination as Machu Picchu and the sacred valley. And the best part is, we were able to find the cheapest way to get to Machu Picchu, spending only around $80 per person (something that often costs in the hundreds or even the thousands)! About The Matneys:
We're Christian and Aubry, a couple traveling North and South America in our converted Sprinter Van. On The Matneys, we love chatting about the reality of living in a van, what van life allows us to do, and how traveling to new places with new cultures can really open your eyes to so much about the world, our own country, and ourselves. Our little home is simple, but it takes us to the most magical paradises in the world.
