Lexus LX 570 (2020) Most reliable Luxury SUV with off-road Capability! (Walkaround Review)
✔A new appearance package for the Lexus LX570 simulates an F Sport version, without any F Sport hardware.
✔ The 2020 LX570's price is flat for the three-row version and several thousand less for the two-row version compared with 2019 models.
✔ The Sport package, which only comes on the three-row LX, is priced at $100,595 and makes its debut in September.
The LX570 now has a Sport package—not an F Sport package, but something that resembles one—for 2020. It will cost $100,595 and make its debut this September.
Instead of the chrome-slatted grille, there's a meshed, blacked-out cheese-grater schnoz similar to the F Sport treatments on the RX. A chin spoiler grafted onto the lower bumper adds fake intakes and wedged contours, while the rear valance gets another add-on treatment. New chrome and extra gloss-black trimmings for the side mirrors, along with standard 21-inch rims, separate the LX570 Sport from a non-Sport.
Inside, similar to what Infiniti offers on the QX80 Limited, the Sport introduces white leather with a black headliner, which can't be ordered on other LX570 trims. The Luxury package is mandatory and includes heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, four-zone climate control, puddle lamps, a heated wood steering wheel, a head-up display, wireless charging, and a 19-speaker Mark Levinson stereo. The 5.7-liter V-8 churns out the same 383 horsepower and 403 lb-ft through permanent four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Sport package is only available in the three-row configuration.
The 2020 LX570 is unchanged save for minor price adjustments. The two-row is $2970 less than the 2019 model, at $84,575, while the three-row is $150 more at $92,675. Those are starting prices, but the LX570 comes almost loaded with only a handful of options.
Each year, only a few thousand people buy a new LX570. Through June, Lexus delivered 2309. The QX80, Cadillac Escalade, and Range Rover each sell several times over that figure. The LX570 is not as opulent or modern as a Range Rover. But there's an example of how a few luxury SUV owners spend their money.
