Boy/Girl? We had NO GENDER after our first ultrasound, so we almost had to cancel our gender reveal party!

Hey everyone,

First off, I want to say that if you are looking for a crazy over-the-top Gender Reveal - this is not it - finding out the gender of our baby together in front of our friend's and family in our home that we will soon welcome our baby was the main event here!

That being said, I am not against over-the-top parties, it just wasn't what we wanted. Honestly though, if you are planning to find out the gender of your baby before giving birth I highly recommend doing something a little extra special like a reveal party where you and your spouse find out at the same time. It really made the experience that much more special and I'm so happy we did it this way!

I hope you enjoy watching us find out what we are expecting - it wasn't as straight forward as I thought it would be. Remember - tell the ultrasound technician to *write down the gender for you on paper for your doctor* - lesson learned! But at the same time, it was worth every penny to have a 3D scan and watch our baby hanging out in my belly - now we know what goes on in there all day!
