An Australian television reporter said she was terrified after a snake draped around her shoulders repeatedly struck at her microphone. Sarah Cawte, a Network Nine reporter in the southern New South Wales town of Wagga Wagga, said she was doing a story on snake safety when she decided to have the snake wrapped around her while filming Wednesday.
"I was just so scared because my hand was so close to where it was biting," Ms Cawte said.
She continued with her piece to camera shot then asked the snake handler who was standing nearby to take the snake away.
"Get it off me," she said.
