You read that right. It's easier than ever to win at life. It's easier than ever because there's a fun little modern game that everyone is addicted to - and if you can train yourself to resist that addiction, you're way ahead of 99% of the world. Think about how many times you hear about projects that didn't get done because "life got in the way".
Sure, sometimes a catastrophic thing does happen, and everything stops - someone important passes away, there's a relationship that begins or ends, pterodactyls take over the roof space and you have to move house - but life-stopping catastrophes don't actually happen any more often than they ever did.
No, there's something else stopping everyone from doing what they say they're going to do - and if you can beat it, you win, hands down.
