New COVID-19 test kits used to screen swab samples collected at Singapore checkpoints Enhanced precautions against COVID-19 have been introduced at all Singapore immigration checkpoints. The new measures include swab tests on anyone who shows symptoms of respiratory illnesses or fever. Tests will be brought to the Home Team Science and Technology Agency lab at Pasir Panjang, where scientists will determine if a sample contains the virus. The lab, which has a team of 20 scientists, can test up to 200 swabs a day. Officials said the tests are more than 99% accurate, and the process takes only three hours.
