Huge fire destroys property worth millions of shillings at the furniture market at Githurai 44

Traders are counting losses after the property of unknown value was destroyed in an early morning fire that started at a furniture shop at Githurai 44 area on Monday morning.
According to area residents, the fire whose cause is yet to be established began at around 4am and spread fast into the adjacent shops where it consumed more furniture and items stocked in the stalls.
