Understanding native speakers can be difficult! One of the reasons is that we use lots of reductions when we speak. A reduction is when a sound in a word changes or disappears. In this video I explain several common English reductions that are used in British and American English. We'll look at strong and weak forms of words that are used in everyday speech.
