EmiliaRomagnaWiFi is a free service that provides a fast and anonymous connection to Internet through more than 4000 WiFi access points located in public areas – city squares, public transport, hospitals, schools, etc. throughout the Emilia-Romagna territory in Italy. All the hotspots are connected to a public owned network infrastructure. This project was a finalist of the European Broadband Awards in 2018.
