There is a clear distinction between professional and amateur players when it comes to kick shots in pool. I find that amateur players tend to kick with only the intent of making contact with object ball. Pro players however, kick with a specific goal in mind, whether that be a kick safe, or pocketing a ball and getting position. In this video, I lay out a new strategy that I have started using to improve my kicking game that I call Kicking with Purpose. I also take a look at a few shots from both Efren Reyes and Earl Strickland with the goal of giving you an idea of how to kick like Efren Reyes, or how to kick like Earl Strickland.
