'I feel like I'm not an outsider' - why new friendships matter after cancer

'I feel like I'm not an outsider' - why new friendships matter after cancer During #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth we're highlighting how young people overcome feelings of loneliness and isolation through Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust trips. Treatment can be an excruciatingly isolating time as the young people in this video explain 🙁 #Unspoken

This is why when treatment ends our work begins. During Trust trips personal experiences and worries are shared as many of the young people open up to others who have been through the same thing as them, often for the first time they no longer feel alone. They can play, make friends, push boundaries and really laugh. They can be young again 🙂
