The Philippines Builds a Gigantic and Technologically Superior Ship in the World This means HHIC Philippines can now join and compete in ship projects for the Philippine Navy and Coast Guard Philippines, and benefit from better prices and hire Filipino builders as they will be built at local shipyards.

President Duterte expressed the expertise and hard work of Filipino workers to build CMA CGM Antoine de Saint Exupery, which he described as "a very powerful and high-tech ship."

The 20.600 TEU container vessel (twenty legs equivalent) - 400 meters long, 59 meters wide and 33 meters deep and named CMA CGM Antoine de Saint Exupery, after the French writer - is considered the largest commercial vessel in the world today, according to its builders, Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction-Philippines (HHIC-Phil Inc.).

Duterte said the launch of the vessel underscored "Hanjin's vital role in the maritime industry of our country."

"So I hope HHIC-Phil remains a pillar and partner in the growth of the Philippine maritime industry, especially now that our country is experiencing strong economic growth," said Duterte, who is in India for a regional summit with leaders from the Association of Asian Countries Southeast.

Mr. Duterte also asked Hanjin officials to protect the welfare of his workers.

"What else can you expect from a lot of boats not because of their skills and hard work?

How else can you make your order well
