Pragati Bhavan sources have asked the finance ministry to calculate the extent to which the government is burdened by the implementation of the PRC. The state currently has 2.62 lakh job seekers and teachers and 2.67 lakh pensioners. In total, 5.29 lakh people need to implement the PRC. One per cent Fitment on current salaries is Rs. 225 crores will take an additional burden. The 27 per cent fitment will add an additional Rs 6,000 crore a year. The same issue was reported to the Finance Department CM. The new PRC has now been given another four years, and the PRC once in five years will increase the burden on the treasury, the reports said. Some officials have taken to the CM's attention that the annual salaries of employees are Rs.36,000 crores and it is better to increase the salaries of the center once in 10 years to reduce the maintenance costs.
