Although Marvel has moved on from phase 3, we at CBR have certainly not. Especially considering the three new deleted scenes from Avengers: Endgame that have been leaked and released over the past few days. Today we’ll be looking at what they portray and exactly why they were cut.

The first scene takes place on Vormir, where Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) and Clint (Jeremy Renner) have to fight over who will sacrifice themselves to save the rest of the world. In the theatrical release, Black Widow wins (depending on what you consider a win) and the new scene is no different in this respect. But, there’s a little extra shooting and a little extra Thanos in the deleted version.

The second features Tony and his daughter, Morgan. But here, she’s grown up and talking with her dad in a “metaphysical way station.” He’s just snapped his fingers and reversed the course of Thanos’ previous one. The scene is almost a carbon copy of another movie moment. Although we won’t spoil exactly which one (you’ll have to watch the video), suffice it to say that it’s probably the last movie you’d guess. Hint: it’s got Jodie Foster in it.

The third scene is the final fight. It’s not a whole deleted chunk, but there are little moments among the chaos that didn’t make the final cut: a few lines between Peter and Tony, more van talk and a fist bump between Quill and Rocket. It’s interesting to see what they left out.
