Info - Viral - Fun A sleepy three-year-old boy has amused thousands of people after being captured on camera dozing off during a class.
Trending footage shows the child, from central China's Henan Province, struggling to stay focused while sitting on a stool next to his classmates.
After he was asked to stand up by his teacher, he continued to be semi-awake while his body swung left to right.
The footage was filmed recently at a nursery in the city of Zhoukou.
The boy's teacher told Pear Video that he had failed to sleep during nap time, therefore when the class began again, he had no energy left.
The clip shows the child leaning backwards as he nods off.
He is seen being woken up by his own movements a couple of times after failing to find a supporting point behind him.
Yet, he goes back to snoozing again.
'I woke him up and asked him to go to wash his face,' his teacher said.
'I dragged him up but he continued to doze off.
'He was so sleepy,' she added.
The video has entertained thousands of web users on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent to Twitter, with many joking that the boy reminds them of themselves when they were little.
One user wrote: '[He] was exactly like me when I was in school.'
Another person commented: 'This little fella is too tired.'
A third person noted: 'Someone give him a table [to sleep on].'
