Kerala Governor commented on the drama at the 80th session of the Indian History Congress in Kannur. Governor Arif Mohammed Khan claimed that he was heckled by historian Irfan Habib during his speech. Khan said that Habib had raised some points regarding the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. When he tried to counter these points, Khan says that Habib tried to 'physically stop' him.
