Measuring Outcomes in Government

Measuring Outcomes in Government Measuring Outcomes in Government - Criterion Master Classes, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
There are four key steps to measuring outcomes.
1. Articulate your Outcomes so that they are measurable. Clear language makes the outcome/result measurable, it is the WHAT to measure before we start thinking about the measures.
2. Map the relationships between the Outcomes, create the framework. Defines the key relationships (mainly causal) that bring about the impact and affect performance.
3. Design and Select quantifiable measures that provide meaningful feedback about your Outcomes. This is from Step 3 of PuMP, a deliberate process to design and select meaningful measures.
4. Track the progress of your measures in XmR charts and make deliberate decisions about targets. XmR Charts have been a tool of choice for serious performance improvement practitioners for about 60 years!
