More food establishments using CCTVs amid rise in food poisoning cases The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is considering new rules to tackle food hygiene and safety as the latest statistics showed a 73 per cent jump in the number of food poisoning cases last year. In response to queries, the agency said that as part of its review, it is working with stakeholders in the food industry on the use of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in food establishments to enhance food safety regulatory oversight.
