In season 1 of Dr. Phil: Annique says her married boyfriend has separated from his wife several times during their eight-year affair, but always ends up going back. She says she feels that she’s ready to leave the relationship, but doesn’t know how to break things off. “You're getting played for a fool," Dr. Phil tells her in this clip from season one, adding, “The chance of a relationship that begins in an extramarital affair succeeding long term is less than five percent.”
