With rumors such as this swirling around, one can’t help that it looks like something is going behind the scenes in Lakerland. In an already deleted story, That first Instagram story came from Kyle Kuzma’s Trainer which appears like he’s taking shots at LeBron for not being able to keep up with Kawhi this year. Shortly after that, Kyle Kuzma tweeted “Call a spade a spade”, and honestly, I don’t know what that meant but it looks like they’re taking shots at LeBron. And when you do this… You’re getting traded soon! Anyway, it will be fun to see how this all shapes out.
The Los Angeles Lakers are finally up and running this season with championship aspirations after acquiring Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. They have an imposing record at 24-7 and that’s largely because of their two superstars who have been carrying the load every night. Kyle Kuzma should have been benefiting from the extra space and less attention from defenders since they have two all-stars on the floor right? Well… Not quite.
Kuzma is a 6 foot 8, 220 pound power forward who makes the occasional shot here and there, but it feels like he tends to disappear in most games the Lakers would have liked. Sure, the injuries may have taken a toll but drop in numbers is a bit worrisome.
Kyle Kuzma is one of the x-factors for the Lakers this season mainly because number 1, of his natural scoring ability and the talent to get hot at anytime once he finds his shot. And second, he could be the the only trade piece that’s intriguing for other teams. There are a few bright spots this season,
He showed what he could during the game against Clippers posting 25 points in 27 minutes and that’s what the Lakers need from nightly. The problem, he’s having a hard time being consistent and there a lot of factors as to why that is happening.
