What it’s like to be blind at Christmas [CC]

Being blind at Christmas can be really tough especially if you haven’t always been blind your entire life, since losing my site in 2013 there have been times where I haven’t coped well with not being able to see the glitter, the twinkling lights, the flickers of candles and crackling fires, and seeing everyone’s happy smiling faces in their goofy Christmas jumpers.
I made this video to capture what it’s like to be blind at Christmas to remind people you can find happiness even if you can’t see it anymore. Christmas is about making memories with the ones you love, and I hope I capture this.
There are so many blind girl faux pas in this Christmas vlog; I hope it gives you a giggle.
