EVENTIDE NAMM NEWS 2020 - H9 Tricera Chorus / H9 MAX Dark Limited Edition / ROSE V3 Christian from Eventide shows us the new Tricera Chorus Algorithm for H9, the H9 MAX Dark Limited Edition and the new features of the ROSE V3 firmware update and new EDM Software.
TriceraChorus is inspired by classic bucket brigade delay tri-choruses and choruses used both live and in the studio. TriceraChorus has up to three chorus voices, each with a dedicated LFO to modulate a delay and create lush chorus sounds. The algorithm also has vibrato, stereo detune, and two envelope destinations (Mix & Rate) on tap.
Now, with v3.0, Rose capabilities offers five banks of five presets for a total of 25 (and comes with 25 factory presets), Tap Division selection (quarter, eighth, dotted eighth, triplet), MIDI lock Receive, MIDI Tap Tempo, Envelope Off Mode, Kill-Dry Mode, and Expression now supports single switch (TS) aux switches as well as 3-button (TRS) switches.
Replacing the Eventide Direct software updater for its pedal line, the new Eventide Device Manager (EDM) performs software updates for all Eventide pedals.With EDM, presets can be edited and saved on the fly and backed up and loaded with ease.
