The Indian government commented on the possibility of evacuating Pakistani students from China's Wuhan. Raveesh Kumar, spokesperson for India's Ministry of External Affairs, was asked about alleged appeals from Pakistani students stuck in the city which is the epicentre of an outbreak of a mysterious Coronavirus. Kumar said that India had not received any such request from its Pakistani counterpart. He added that if Islamabad made such a request, Delhi would think about it keeping in mind availability of resources. The NDA administration brought back over 600 Indians and 7 Maldivians from Wuhan in two special flights on February 1 and 2, 2020.
