A Kenwood Eleven III stereo receiver repair and restoration video. This vintage 2 channel audio classic produced in 1977 was found in a Florida attic. This Kenwood Eleven III receiver is the perfect example of vintage audio toughness. It was left to rot but after some work it's ready to make music. A full restoration, repair and testing will be needed in the future. In this video I clean the decades of dirt and grime from this vintage Kenwood Eleven III receiver along with repairing two intermittent problems. The electrolytic capacitors will need to be replaced in the future. The Kenwood Eleven III features both a timer and automatic speaker impedance detector. I am a hobbyist that repairs and collects vintage stereo gear. Every piece of equipment that you see in my video's is mine. I don't repair other people's equipment and then send them back to their owners. I repair, restore, and bench test every unit.
